Know your rights. Know your union.

Education Committee

Every Fellow should know what protections we have, where to turn with a question, and how we can improve research careers together. The Education Committee makes that information easier to find, understand, and share.

What the committee does

Helping every Fellow start informed

The Education Committee welcomes new Fellows into our union and helps members understand the rights and protections we have won together. We organize Meet Your Union events, orientations, conversations, and practical materials that answer the questions people actually have.

We work closely with the Organizing Committee so every Fellow has a chance to attend a union orientation. From there, we keep creating ways for members to learn how to use and defend our rights, support coworkers, and build a more sustainable future in research.

Union education starts with conversation: a chance to ask real questions, hear from coworkers, and leave knowing where to turn.

Help members know what we have

Turn our rights into something everyone can use

Help welcome new Fellows, host an event, improve a handout, or bring the questions you hear from coworkers. Clear information gives more people the confidence to defend one another and shape what comes next.
